My cute little pail buckets for my buttons...

or rather large button balls!
Last week for $5.00 a pop I found these little buckets... I was looking for white ones, but I couldn't find any!! I found these that blend together quite well with my button balls.

So for 5.00 I couldn't refuse. So the button balls will sit on top like pictured, and be located in the garden (if you look a few posts down you will see what I mean lining the aisle...) Group shot!!

I will remove the handles as it makes the button balls sit kinda awkward. :)

Even tho they aren't white like I pictured in my head, I'm very happy with these as the alternates.

Anything you really wanted get changed? and your happy with the alternative?

Button ball aisle decor. COMPLETED!!

I finally finished my button balls.

I only wanted six to line the aisle of were the girls and I are walking down. So if you can picture red carpet, the button balls themselves on white little pail buckets and raised from the ground and positioned like this

and imagine an archway at the end. White chairs to the left and right.. and arch way hanging in our initials.

If you pictured that ok, I think I might have just done my wedding planning right! Thank goodness these button balls are done! Here's a close up!

Do you like??

Quick update

So what have I been doing the last few days?

Absolutely nothing.... I decided to have a break with a few things. And I realised I hadn't blogged in 6 days!! YEE GOODNESS!

well, with my little break over.... I made a few decisions!

With the project of button balls that I have been creating, I'm nearly there! They were originally going to be used as centrepieces but instead we are lining the aisle with them! Make the ceremony a bit more DIY than reception. I still have no idea what to use on 6 empty tables as centre pieces. I have been scouring stores for ideas and FH has given me a challenge. I must not spend more that $25.00 on each centrepiece. I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge!

I also started on some baskets to hold the favours.. Attempt 1 failed so trying that one over again :(

My dress fitting is coming up... April 17th :S

This week I am starting the Couch to 5k program. Its a 9 week exercising program pretty much exactly what the title says... going from the couch to running 5k. I am really looking forward to it and the program seems really great! For the program click here:

Here comes the brideeeeeeeee....

So it has been almost a day since I blogged.. I'm really enjoying blogging by the way, its keeping me motivated to keep on track with everything 'wedding'.
Well in the last day a few things have happened..

I thought about my wedding song for walking down the aisle and went back and forth in my head with possibilities.. and man there were endless choices..
Vanilla Ice, 2pac, shakira? .. I'm serious by the way...... .... dead serious :P
Every song I have been listening to I have been analyzing going.. could this be the one?

And there is one that has been stuck in my head for my 'grand' entry for our garden wedding...top of the list actually.. now dont laugh (click on the youtube link to play)

Its River Flows In You by Yurima - featured on the twilight soundtrack BUT not in the movie :)

I like it! Do you like it? What are you walking down the aisle too??
I know Im going to cop it from a few twilight fans, for the record Im not a vampire girl.. or close to being a fanatic. I did enjoy the books tho.
