Thanks a lot. My thanks are ready to go!

I have been working on my thank you card design the last few days. And this one that won out with the design.(courtesy of Nonpareil Magazine)

They look so cute in real life. I really wanted the Thank You cards to be fun!

So I think I achieved that ! Super happy with them. I was going to do envelope liners and just thought meh, to much work! I have done address tags with the same flags but I wont print them out just yet..

Also if you would like the design. It's free to download here:

Thank you..

Awhile ago doing the first mock up of the programs I had come up with a cute thank you. With the new program.. I decided the poem wasn't going to cut it. And I wanted something more meaningful. I found this online. AMEN for the Internet!!

(I just cant remember where I sourced it tho. Sorry!)

We are going to use this, its heartfelt.. and it really is ...well us! :D

"Marriage is not a culmination. It is a beginning. A beginning of a life that will grow and change in ways more wonderful than we can imagine.

Many years from now when we look back on our life. Love and this day, we will remember that flowers, music and food were not what made this day so special. It will be our memories of sharing the beginning of our life as husband and wife with you - our friends and family.

Having you here with us today has made our wedding truly wonderful. Understanding that life holds many momentous commitments. We thank you for sharing in one of our happiest."

I wanted to show you a picture of it on the program BUT my camera disagreed otherwise.. it ran out of batteries!

What are you using on your programs?

Program Mock Up Take 2

So I had an email from a friend of mine asking how I was going with the programs. So I thought I had better try again!

Well my first attempt was posted about a week or so back, and I wasn't super happy with it. I'm having the hardest time making things flow through the wedding.

So a new idea took over. I took my flower design that I had on the invites and printed it on A4 sheets and cut them in half. Fold them punched the holes through and added ribbon.

Well first of all, the eyelet punch I bought, way too big!! making that ribbon disappear. The overall look tho is great. I love the invite design on there and the style. So I need to find a smaller punch. (I'm heading to the local craft store today)

On opening I would like it to be a bit like a book. First page just a monogram (believe it or not I'm having trouble designing my own, too picky!) and on the back of that starts the order of service bridal party and on the last page on the back, our thank you.

So I have started to get things finalised with the ceremony, I have been back and forth with our officiant but I still need to delegate of whose doing what. So until that's done I really cant print much. But I'm working on it!

Am I on the right track?

Now that I have the template Ill be able be stepping in the right direction.. (or in today's case.. skipping!).

Wedding Programs - oh so cute and trendy!

So my goal.. is to have these programs like the one pictured, I found off the DIY section of Weddingbee.com and I was lucky that when I fell in love with them that the poster had a template for them! I really love it when people include the template in the post. Here is the original link;

Ive started off today by creating the card stock which we have on the back our thank you (this wasn't in the original design but I thought why not!)

Today we begin the rest of our life
Together forever as husband and wife.
Our dreams came true, with love and more—
Adventures to have and the world to explore.

Thank you for celebrating our wedding day.
As we share our vows, we just want to say:
These wedding memories will become a treasure,
And seeing you here is part of the pleasure.

I had other stuff that said thank you in a little less corny fashion but this the one FH liked best. So I designed and printed those today

My next step is to create the program itself, but I wont do that for the next few weeks as FH is unsure of one member of the bridal party. He has had a few issues so until that's sorted I wont print it out. Just thought I would get ahead and create as much as I could. And I will do the belly band I think next week.

But its good to have at least the template! and know what direction we are heading.

Thank You Cards. Im on to it like donkey kong!

So tonight... Not only am I sending out our save the dates tomorrow. EXCITEMENT!

I finished the design for our thank you cards, keeping it fairly simple.

All 160 printed and cut tonight! I know your thinking why has she done it this early? well I'm thinking.. I do not want to do this after the wedding sitting designing and creating. Id rather it be done with and me just start writing and sending!

It even comes with its own DIY jazzed up envelope I created. :) I know its not spectacular but its on the KISS (keep it simple stupid) principle.
